Day 87: My favorite part of this class is probably the atmosphere

Day 87

For my first semester of AP world history, I felt as if it was a decent time. I enjoyed the units we did and the work we did in class. Mainly this is because I am a fan of history (fan of more modern history, but you get the point). Something I did very well in this class was getting involved in activities I may have not been familiar with or working in my group and learning new things. Something I need to improve on for this upcoming 2nd semester is prioritizing my checklists. I could’ve improved on that and I had many opportunities to improve on that, and I feel like I didn’t take advantage of my free time to simply watch you talk about a certain topic.

My favorite part of this class is probably the atmosphere in the classroom, and how you value yourself as a learner along with us, instead of acting like you are a power over us

My Response

I sometimes wonder if I should I continue to post daily. It can be a grind. Every time I think I should stop, I get a reminder of why I wanted to do it in the first place. Students see me as a learning above all else. I’m not sure if there is a higher compliment.
