Day 128

Student reflection provided by Marina

During this year, I’ve come to understand the importance of being present and attentive during class and using your time wisely. I’ve also become more independent in some areas, such as recognizing the benefits of taking the time to learn and study at home. Also, I  realized that some things just need to be done in a classroom.

I haven’t been in this class for very long, so I’m not sure if you do this, but I think reviewing material we learn in the checklists or going over additional material outside of those would be helpful. In my previous class, I felt like we went into more detail regarding the content, but that had its advantages and disadvantages.

I definitely need more practice with writing DBQs, SAQs, LAQs, any writing really. I feel like I still don’t completely understand how the paragraphs should be structured, how to source documents, and how to refer to the documents when using them as evidence. I also don’t know where HAPPY fits into the overall structure.
